| 10:56 pm - E-mail on asexuality. For the first time in months I went to go check the gmail account for P-CEP GSA, and I ran into this letter:
Subject: Asexuality From: Fred hi <smashinglyinsane@gmail.com> To: me <pcepgsa@gmail.com> Date: March 29, 2006
Hello there, I am a senior at PCEP and I have never attended a GSA meeting, so I do not know if this topic has been addressed. Do you ever go into the sexual orientation of asexuality? One of the reasons I've never attended a GSA meeting is that I am pretty consistently asexual, though I have been defining myself publicly as bi -- it's easier to explain. I wonder if you might consider including asexuality in your publicity for upcoming years. Asexual is a very lonely thing to be in our sex-oriented society, and I don't think the fact that it really is a sexual orientation is widely known among the Park. Thank you for your time, A Student
I know it's a little late to respond to this, but I was hoping some of you could give out some possible information or advice for this student. With me no longer belonging to the school, you people would know better on how to help answer this person's questions.
What do you think?

 | 04:10 pm Hello lads and ladies and all of us in-between or perhaps even transcendent...
A couple of things:
1. Coming to the U of M (Ann Arbor) this week--April 5-7--will be a traveling photo exhibit called "Love Makes A Family: Portraits of Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual, and Transgender People and Their Families." I see no admission prices, so I'm assuming it's free. Located at U of M's Michigan League. For more info, visit www.tri.org
2. I have contacted a Ruth Ellis Center representative, and we are scheduled to be volunteering at the center on SUNDAY, APRIL 23RD FROM 1PM TO 5PM (about 5, that is...). She'll give us a project to work on for the day, like a room to paint or some such, and afterward we will be able to hang out with the kids at the Drop-In Center. Should be fun, methinks: PLEASE, TRY TO COME PEOPLE. (Really guys, when I do this kind of stuff, it's rather disheartening/frustrating when like one person shows up to everything. I realize that everyone is busy, but I think our ability to work on beefing up numbers for these kinds of activities will strengthen us as a club. There. Enough soap-boxing for one Cherri.)
There's actually a good deal more for for me to say, but the aforementioned were the most imperative--the rest I shall save for this Thursday's meeting. REMEMBER TO BRING YOUR T-SHIRTS FOR DAY OF SILENCE, AND ALL THE OTHER GOODIES! Other than that, have fine days and evenings and yay for Seniors who don't have to wake up 'til about 10 o'clock tomorrow...

 | 11:19 pm - ATTENTION (s'il vous plait) Hello all...
Would just like to inform/remind you that for THIS WEEK'S MEETING we will be hosting our two fine SPEAKERS, Kate and Dawn. They are a lesbian couple I've met through PFLAG Ann Arbor, as they spoke a couple of times there. They've got some interesting stories to tell and are very active in the LGBT community, so I'm sure it'll be a good time. BRING AS MANY FRIENDS ETC. AS YOU CAN! I'd hate to have them go through so much troule and have something like five people show for the meeting, so...
Also, to catch folks up:
WE CREATED GAY STICKS at the last meeting for the purpose of collecting donations for the Ruth Ellis Center, so if you'd like to participate in the fund raising effort PLEASE CREATE SOME KIND OF COLLECTION CONTAINER SOON. DO NOT begin collecting until your receive the approval stickers from me at this week's meeting; I will also be handing out garbage bags for our bottle drive.
See you guys in LARGE NUMBERS on Thursday.

| 03:42 pm - Because no one else has posted it yet. Even though I'm no longer active in GSA, I received an E-mail from Sal:
Hey Folks, I am not sure that I am going to be at school on Thursday (2/23), and would like to cancel the meeting. -- Hope you have a good break. Sal
So, yeah, keep that in mind.

 | 12:34 pm Hello...
I would like to rehearse the skit one more time before tomorrow (is that consensus?). I'm trying to get a hold of Jill, but I'm guessing we might be able to run through it later this evening. Maybe 7 or 8 ish. Let me know if you will be able to do it. My house. 11685 Spicer, Plymouth.
EDIT:
If we cannot get in a rehearsal today, we'll just have to take advantage of the two-hour practice period we have tomorrow before we perform.
Everyone in the skit remember to be at the Salem Auditorium first hour on Monday. You all have excused absences.
Those performing include: Jill, Billy, Mike, Patrick, Susannah, and myself
